about

I'm an engineering lead in Ankara and a generalist. I build on both sides of the stack, frontend and backend, and I lead the teams that build with me.

## Background

Eleven years of widening scope. I started as a maker: hardware installations with Arduino and Processing, and prototyping workshops for non-specialists. At an innovation studio in Istanbul I grew from engineer to technology design director, and led engineers and designers as one team on mobile and web products.

I joined a Swiss proptech in 2024 and have been a lead engineer there since 2025. I work across frontend, backend, and data, with a team spread across Zurich and Ankara. I earned each lead title in place, not by changing jobs.

I studied electrical and electronics engineering, then computer-aided art and design. Both still show: I write decisions down before I build, I keep the code I own close, and I care how the result looks.
